Sage Abode works alongside building professionals to guide new home clients through kitchen, cabinetry and finish selections across Brisbane. The result is clearer decisions, more efficient selection meetings, and interiors that come together with confidence.

New home clients get overwhelmed. Selections slow down. Projects stall.

It does not have to go that way.

The volume of decisions in a new home build is real: cabinetry, colours, finishes, layouts, materials and upgrades all need to work together. Without clear guidance, selection meetings slow down and become harder to finalise. Clients arrive uncertain, change their minds mid-meeting, and the back-and-forth costs everyone time.

About Sage Abode

Calm, considered design support for the people who build Brisbane's new homes.

Led by Julie Gorton, Sage Abode provides new home interior design support for Brisbane builders and cabinet makers, focusing on the selection stage of a build, where clients make the decisions that shape how their home looks, feels and functions. The approach is practical and commercially aware: clear guidance, visual support and recommendations grounded in how the client lives and how the space will be built. Let's talk about your new project and how we can help your clients' build a home that compliments their lifestyle.

Our designers will meet with you or your clients fully prepared with “standard” concept design plans and live images.  During this meeting the designer will discuss the clients’ needs and lifestyle to achieve a design that will work efficiently and be aesthetically pleasing.  Upgrades and finish selections are amended in full view of the client allowing them to see the effect of the changes as they are being made via live rendered images.

Our designers will provide their expertise and guidance to your client assisting them with budget, design style and lifestyle requirements therefore reducing the number of revisions.  Builders/cabinetmakers are provided with client approved, details and dimensioned design plans to scale, including:

  • Floor Plans

  • Dimensioned Elevations

  • 3D images

  • A complete FF & E (Fixtures and Finishes Schedule) for the cabinetmaker
